This one is what it says on the tin. It’s getting your ass off the couch and up and doing something to help yourself.
Fitness is a funny thing, you get more out of it then you realise. I had a stroke in April 2024, and one of the things that stood to me was the prehab, preparing to recover from something I didn’t even know was coming. An occupational therapist in the hospital said to me “you’ll have to be stubborn”. That, I thought, I can do. Stubborn is pulling your calf muscle at mile 16 and still finishing.
Stubborn I can do.
